Tabriz Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences was established in 1993 to educate rehabilitation expertise in patient-care, education and research related to people with disabilities. Today, the department has more than 40 faculty members and admits post graduate students to broaden the science of rehabilitation through our country.
The department is nationally and regionally recognized as a leader in advancing the subspecialties of pediatric rehabilitation, pain management, spinal cord injury medicine and sports medicine. Our rehabilitation specialists have received national and international recognition for excellence in neck and back pain, posture, geriatrics, chronic pain, amputation care, neurologic rehabilitation, pediatric disabilities, musculoskeletal problems, electrodiagnosis, sports injury and other a myriad of other problems related to pain and disability.
Mission
The Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences’ mission is to improve the function, level of independence, and quality of life of people who have disabilities brought about by aging, illness, injury, or of congenital origin.
We provide regional leadership in patient care, education, and research. Our dedicated faculty members represent a broad spectrum of scientific and clinical disciplines.
